Petite énigme…

21 11 2011

Last speech…

13 09 2011

With school you noticed that I never have the time to write, especially that for some reason Mom now considers blogging like fun, so I can only write when I have done all my homework and if I’m ready for the next days exam. (which means never…)

But I’m writing to inform you that this is my last blog in English, it’s now time for me to move on and learn to write correctly in French.

For those of you who can’t read or understand a single word in French, (yes like you Grandpa!!) it’s no big deal. It’s a great time to learn with globalization. Only us “Frenchies” are excused from learning any other language. Because everyone knows that French is the worlds most prettiest and romantic language!! (So why learn something else?)

For some reason, no matter skeptical you may be about this statement  it is the sad truth so live with it!! But on the other hand that might explain why France is the worse country in the world, when it comes to learning another language.

Northern France and Snow, oxymoron ! =)

22 12 2010

Snow is something quite rare in this area of France, probably as rare as dinosaurs today !  or very close. =) And if we do get a bit of snow it comes in millimeters, we sometimes get 5 or 10 mm, and maybe if we’re really lucky we get 20 mm ! Wow… Anyway I think you get the point.

But believe it or not, this week we saw a dinosaur ! Yup, last Sunday morning with already a couple mm of snow on the ground it started snowing, but this time in wasn’t the usual spitting or the nasty nagging from the sky which it really loves doing here; no, it actually  started snowing at a such a speed that towards the end of the day we had gotten 150 mm !!! Doesn’t that sound so like a lot !? =)

So that night after coming home around 7 pm from a special evening with our church, we all (dad, mom and friends) decided to enjoy the great snow, that was especially good for packing, and built a great snowman that was about three meters tall (ok, maybe something close to that.)

Once finished with that we decided to make an igloo, which, yes, is a family tradition (maybe we have some eskimo blood…). We did finish that after the “fabrication” of at least the hundredth snow brick ! At eleven at night !  But when taking the time to admire what we had created, we had great satisfaction inside and that’s what made it so great.

P.S. I’ll put some pictures tomorrow of the snow day if you’re interested .

Time goes on…

Yeah yeah, you’re probably telling yourself “Oh! Peter finally wrote something, better enjoy it because there probably won’t be more for the next couple weeks…” And sadly your most probably right, for one simple reason.

School… Such meaning to that word. It usually means months of imprisonment, days of depression, and an indifference that begins to grow inside the soul, also I practically don’t get anymore exercise, except for chasing after the bus every morning, and so my once well-toned muscular body has turned to mush! I’m almost afraid to look behind me and see what I once looked like.

But happily its finally Christmas vacation, and I now have a bit to time to myself… Or will I ?

Am I a doofus ?

17 12 2010

Well well, that last post was quite interesting: short, simple, yet quite complex if you really meditate on it… And it probably has a lot of truth in it. But even if I hate to say it, that phrase was not from me. =)

Some horrible scoundrel hacked into my account, destroyed all my data, and published horrifying propaganda on my blog ! I later on found out that this scoundrel was no other than my big brother who had created my account for me several months ago… Moral of the story, you can never trust anyone, anywhere !!! Except yourself. =)

P.S. Guess I’m going to have to change the password…

Peter is a doofus
